Edge markings to 170mm in 1mm increments.

The first thing to notice with a Woodpeckers Saddle T-Square is the array of holes perforating the centre of the blade. These holes are perfectly spaced 1 mm apart and are sized just right for the tip of a mechanical pencil (see our excellent Pentel Graphgear pencils) . Laying down a line parallel to the edge of your stock is as simple as finding the hole you want, dropping in a pencil and sliding the Saddle T along the edge.

Instead of struggling to re-align a square to transfer a mark from the face to the edge, with the Saddle T-Square you can do it in one fluid motion. The 19mm deep reference edge is machined perfectly in line with the scale edge.

The aluminium body is anodised in the familiar Woodpeckers Red with the laser engraved scale in bright white making it very easy to read. Woodpeckers also bevel the edges by 30 degrees which drops the markings closer to your work, reducing parallax sighting errors.

Woodpeckers Saddle T-Squares are milled from one solid block of aircraft grade aluminium with every edge chamfered, making the tool comfortable to work with and easy to hold. We like the feature that even the tiny pencil holes have bevelled edges to guide your pencil tip in place.
