Ray Iles 8' Mike Abbott Pattern Draw Knife
This drawknife designed by Mike Abbott and manufactured by Ray Iles has a 8" cutting edge, with beech handles. This 8" drawing knife has slightly flared handles which are bent backwards, meaning the handles are at approximately the same angle, whether you are using them back down, or cannel down.

This Gent's drawknife made by Ray Iles is a delicate drawknife which has a 6" cutting edge and slightly splayed handles. It is made from O1 high carbon tool steel and is fitted with beautiful curved boxwood handles and brass ferrules.

Ray Iles Inshave (Scorp)
The Ray Iles Inshave (scorp) has steamed beech handles with brass ferrules. This tool is basically a semi circular drawknife with an 8" blade.
Ray Iles Small Froe
The Ray Iles small 5 1/2" froes are made from hardened and tempered EN9 spring steel and fitted with a 10" beech handle, treated with raw linseed oil.

Ray Iles Large Froe
The Ray Iles large 10½" froes is tapered from top to bottom, with a tapered eye and a 14" beech shaft.
The shaft had been treated with raw linseed oil and as with all of the Ray Iles beech handles, it is recommended you add further applications from time to time, to improve the durability and appearance of the wood.

Ray Iles Rounding Planes
A rounder is also known as rotary plane and is used to create accurate tenons or for rounding spindles for chairs. All of these 6 rounders are made by Ray Iles.
The thick blade is held in place by two washered screws which allows you to adjust or remove the blade for sharpening very easily.
