Hamlet Craft Tools
Hamlet tools have an excellent reputation within woodturning circles and they are competitively priced. We offer the most popular tools made from M2 steel. Their standard beech handles and polished finish make for attractive tools that have been in production now for about 20 years.
Cooper Tools who originated from 3 generations of toolmakers, formerly held premises at the Abbeydale Industrial Hamlet and named the brand “Hamlet” after their previous home.
Today Hamlet woodturning tools are made by Henry Taylor in Sheffield, England - the place synonymous with fine hand tools, cutlery and steel manufacturing.
The turning tool market place is a crowded one and at Classic Hand Tools we are happy to offer two options for our customer base: Hamlet & Robert Sorby, both manufacturing in Sheffield.
Hamlet’s range is less extensive than Robert Sorby’s, but more than adeqaute as they cover most bases and have the superb Big & Little Brother systems for you to enjoy.
