Pre-owned but in "as new" condition.

Supplied with a Lie-Nielsen plane sock (no box).

Lie-Nielsen Toolworks based this plane on the Stanley 140. It is designed to deal with difficult woods using a combination of a low angle approach, shear cutting action from the skewed blade, and extra weight of the bronze body.

A retractable nicker scores the cross grain fibres, and the removable side plate and adjustable fence allow quick conversion to rabbeting and cross grain work, such as fielding raised panels.

1 1/2 inch wide blade bedded at 12 degrees.

Cherry front knob.

6 5/8" sole length.

Lie-Nielsen Toolworks haven't produce this little wonder with the bronze body for several years now (you can buy the iron version on our website for £450)
