The Tite-Mark Range is manufactured by Glen Drake Toolworks and distributed by Lie-Nielsen.The unique micrometer adjustment makes these marking gauges an easy and very accurate tool to use. It has steel shafts with brass body and fixed circular A2 blade hardened to 58-60 Rockwell. The blade retracts safely into a recess in the head.
The Tite-Mark Standard (7" long shaft) is built around a 5/16" shaft.

"Extremely happy with this marking gauge. I have used many, including the Veritas ones and they all work well to be fair, but this one is a notch above the rest in terms of quality and use. It can be used one handed, which is more useful than you may initially think. The micro adjust is superb and the tightening action is spot on. Get one if you can."

"If you want perfection, Tite-Mark it is. Superb quality, easy to use, great size. I have been using the "mini" Tite-Mark for many years, but finding blades for the mini in EU is very difficult, which is why I opted to add the bigger one to my collection.
