The saw has 2 minor blemishes on the saw plate. One is near the brass back. The second is 13mm from the cutting teeth - i.e years of sawing before that would ever become an issue.

Each blemish is no more than 5mm x 5mm They detract a little from the saw's appearance but not its functionality.
