Introduced in 2010 from Switzerland, Pfeil Carpenters Chisels have strong Elm wood octagonal handles with an oval section. We prefer these to the bench chisels.
The blades are forged from K 510 steel, hardened up to 60 RC. Bevel edged with well marked facets. The blades are finely ground and polished.
- Bevel angle 25°, razor sharp.
- 4mm wide to 40mm wide.
- Overall length 240-260mm.

"Cant say enough about these chisels. Came very sharp and took very little to get more than sharp enough. Use Paul Sellers rag in a can trick to keep them looking good. Keep an edge better than anything else I own. Handles fit my hand better than the round ones and don't role of. In all a top chisel get some before someone famous gets them as they are currently reasonable priced."
