Please note that these stones measure 8" (200mm) x 3" (75mm) x 1/2" (13mm) and are supplied in a plastic storage box.
These are Norton India oil stones (aluminium oxide) are great for imparting durable, smooth cutting edges and for close tolerances.
Coarse India - Use to sharpen dull edges quickly.
Medium India - Medium cutting rate man-made sharpening stone to achieve a medium/fine edge.
Fine India - Use to restore slightly dulled cutting edges and enhance the finish left by Medium and Coarse India stones.
Recommended to be used with a honing oil.

"The medium grit stone works really well with tools that are quite blunt, or mildly damaged. The fine india is not coarse enough to remove a lot of material quickly, but ideal for regular sharpening.
I glued the medium 8x3 to an RHPreyda 8x3 hard arkansas and it is a marvellous combination for tools and knives. The two fit in the hard ark box perfectly."
