Product Description
Mastercarver® has improved the handle comfort of their popular 3 piece knife set. The naturally shaped hardwood handles will fit your hand better for superior grip and comfort. Perfect for right or left-handed use. The handles are lightly finished with natural Tung oil. Unlike ordinary varnish used on others, Tung oil prevents skin blistering and discomfort.
The blades are the 3 most popular shapes. The blades feature high-quality, hardened steel and razor sharp edges (ready to carve). A good set for beginners.
Handle Length 5"; sharpened blade lengths 1¼" (30mm), 1 3/8" (35mm) and 1¾" (45mm).
When reviewed by Woodworkers Institute the verdict was "All three tools were kept sharp with a simple strop, so all in all this was an enjoyable little session with these knives, which I compared favourably with the ones I currently use. I would consider buying a set to add to my existing collection.
