Lie-Nielsen - Pair of Drawbore Pins [Preowned, SOLD]

Item: ML-18Apr25-13

£95.00 (VAT exempt)

Product Description

From our main LN section – “Drawboring is a great way to make a strong mechanical joint. A wooden pin is hammered through slightly offset holes in the two pieces, and pulls the joint together. You use Drawbore Pins to pull the joint together first (with some force and a twisting motion). This eases the edges of the hole, making driving the wood pin easier. You can also disassemble the joint if you want to work on the fit some more before permanent assembly.

  • O1 Tool Steel, Rockwell 60-62.
  • Maple handles.
  • Pins taper from 7/16" to just under 1/8".

Sold in pairs. To pre-assemble the four parts of a door frame, two pairs are handy.”

As 2 pairs are handy and if you already have a pair – these could be for you!

The handles are in perfect condition.

There is some staining on the last third of the pins (the skinnier ends) on both of the pins. This will not affect function but is reflected in the price.
