Made in the USA, the Kutzall Shaping Wheels provide a great combination of material removal and surface quality. Efficient with or against the grain, these wheels have a long wear life.
Their outstanding performance on a wide variety of materials to include wood, plastic, rubber, fibreglass and soft stone.
NOTE: These wheels should only be used on non-metallic materials.
The Shaping Wheels are available in two coating styles and profiles to fit your needs:
Original Coating – Creates a smooth cutting action and is easy to control; works exceptionally well on harder woods.
Shaping Disc – The Disc is semi-flat and allows you to effortless level high spots, or adjust uneven surfaces with just a few quick passes.
Mounting Instructions: The Shaping Wheels feature a 7/8" bore and are intended to mount on a standard electric angle grinder with a 5/8" shaft. They mount on the 7/8" shoulder found on the shouldered bushing or adapter included with most angle grinders. The shouldered bushing is put on the grinder first, followed by the wheel and then the nut.
Compatible with most angle grinders including: Bosch, Dewalt, Milwaukee Makita, Black & Decker, Ryobi, Hitachi & more. Recommended operating speed range: 5,000 - 15,000 RPM.
Cleaning: They can be easily cleaned with a quick few passes with a soft wire brush. Heat will not harm the teeth!
