The best description of this plane is from Karl Holtey's website. Karl has long been recognised as a planemaker who has always sought perfection in his work. He is regarded by many as one of the best, if not the best modern day planemaker.

The 982 was made in the early years of the last decade. This example has seen very little use and has minor superficial scratch marks on the sole consistent with a few passes over some timber.

Karl does not make as many planes these days so his planes are very sought after. This plane is not an infill plane but has stunning handles that contrast beautifully with the steel body.
