This directory took about 20 years to compile and was printed in 1999 after a huge effort by some eminent members of The Early American Industries Association.

Of course the internet and updated CD's now supersedes pretty much everything when you need information but this weighty directory is a lovely addition to a tool collectors library. It lists makers alphabetically, by state and which of 73 tool types were they making and over what period. There is also some text for many items that expands on that particular maker's activities.

There are some fascinating entries.

The front cover has minor blemish (see photo) but otherwise is in G++ condition.
