Clifton 5 1/2 Jack Plane [Preowned, Unused]

Pre-owned, unused.

This plane had some cosmetic markings to the sides of the plane and the lever cap.

We have cleaned these and confirm that this plane is in G++ condition.

The sole of the plane has 2 tiny cosmetic spot markings (2mm x 1mm each).

"This is a mighty jack at 3.1kg and is the largest of jack planes from Clifton. The 5 1/2 is regularly considered the "go to" plane for people starting out as it really is the most versatile of the bevel-down planes. The name ''jack plane'' comes from ''jack of all trades''.

Bedrock design frog allows for maximum contact between frog and plane body, and gives you easier, more precise adjustment of the mouth.
