Blue Spruce card scrapers are nearly twice as thick as most others on the market. The thicker blade won’t flex, making it easier to achieve a flat, smooth surface with less technique, less grip strength, and less resharpening. Unlike traditional scrapers that leave scalloped surfaces, these scrapers help you achieve perfectly flat results. Plus, the blade edges blend into a gentle curve, eliminating sharp corners that could gouge your project—or your hands.

The thicker blade also makes burnishing much easier. It allows for better control when setting the correct angle and provides more surface to “ride” while sharpening. To complement this, we've created a Dual-Handle Burnisher that offers superior usability.
