Saddlers Round Knife - C S Osborne & Co. Newark N.J [Preowned]
This is a lovely vintage Saddlers round knife from the USA manufacturer CS Osborne.
It is difficult to date but from its form and simplistic beauty we hazard a guess that it is an early one dating as far back as the 19th Century.The blade has a lovely ring to it when flicked by a finger.
It is marked C S Osborne & Co. Newark N.J Made in USA on the blade. It is also marked Made in USA on the handle....

Measuring 10" overall with a tapered square chuck and a thumb screw (which we do not think is original but it works perfectly well).
The 2 1/4” diameter rotating head connects to the body of the brace and it all seems to be working jolly nicely.
Woodpeckers Saddle T-200 [Preowned, Unused]
Pre-owned T-200 metric square made in the USA.
Unused, as new.
Edge markings to 220mm in 1mm increments.
The first thing to notice with a Woodpeckers Saddle T-Square is the array of holes perforating the centre of the blade. These holes are perfectly spaced 1 mm apart and are sized just right for the tip of a mechanical pencil (see our excellent Pentel Graphgear pencils) . Laying down a line...
