As well as the range of exotic bowl and spindle blanks you can orderonline we also have a selection of short boards and "slabs" in our showroom in Witnesham, Suffolk for you to select from. These will not appear online (maybe in 2025) so please pop in to see us when you are in the area.
Our selection now includes cherry, rosewood, oak, maple and umbilo/kiaat planed boards planed boards, waney edged elm, sycamore, walnut, spalted beech, holly, oak, London Plane, birch and ash together with some specimen exotic "slabs" from a marvellous sustainably managed forestry resource in Mozambique (see https://www.dalmannuk.com/forest-management).
For woodcarvers we have lime (various square and rectangular blanks) as well as more woodturning blanks (ash, sycamore and beech).
We have already welcomed hobbyist woodworkers who love our new wood resource. We are responding to their suggestions by adding more selection and quantity to our stock.
The best time to visit is weekdays between 10am - 3.30pm but feel free to call ahead on 01473 784983 for any specific enquiry.
